COUNT TRAINER · ADVANTAGE COUNT v1

Card counting trainer for Hi-Lo and true count

Practise Hi-Lo running count and true-count conversion in your browser. Start with snapshot exercises, then follow a timed shoe with adjustable speed.

Find out where you lose the count.

Counting cards and converting the count are separate skills. Advantage Count lets you practise each, inspect your answer and increase the pace when you are ready.

You work with generated training situations inside the app. There is no casino connection or automatic card recognition.

Two ways to practise.

Snapshot True Count

Read the starting Running Count, deck estimate and visible group of cards. Work out the count change, update RC and convert to TC.

The answer breakdown separates the card delta, final RC, raw TC and expected index TC, so you can see which step needs attention.

Timed Live Shoe

Follow cards shown without replacement, keep the count in memory and answer at checkpoints. Pause and resume, request a checkpoint or end the shoe.

Adjust the card speed and difficulty to work on accuracy first and retention under time pressure later.

Try the arithmetic before opening a drill.

Here is an illustrative conversion exercise with a stated Hi-Lo convention. It is a learning example, not a betting recommendation.

RUNNING COUNT +6 · THREE DECKS REMAINING

True count = +6 ÷ 3 = +2

With the same RC and only two decks remaining, TC would be +3. The running count has not changed; the remaining-card context has.

When a result is fractional, use the conversion convention of the selected strategy profile. See exact TC, flooring and truncation explained.

A focused practice routine.

  1. Use snapshot exercises to separate card-tag errors from division errors.
  2. Start a slow Live Shoe and check whether your count still agrees at each checkpoint.
  3. Review accuracy, mean error and recent checkpoints before increasing difficulty.
  4. Repeat a manageable pace when errors return. Speed is useful only if the count remains correct.

Count Trainer records are separate from Decision Trainer results and analyzer sessions. Progress is stored locally in the browser; account sign-in does not synchronize it across devices.

Counting is one part of the decision.

A true count does not predict the next card or specify every action. The table rules, current hand and selected strategy profile still matter. Use the blackjack strategy trainer for decision practice, or the analyzer to inspect a hand and its calculation route.
